I support students and families throughout the college admissions process...and sometimes beyond. I offer both comprehensive support (end-to-end consulting for all aspects of the process through graduation) and narrow-scope work (essay help, academic advising, reviewing applications the student has completed him/herself). My goal is to help students, regardless of their academic/extracurricular/personal backgrounds, lean into the process with values-first while also being systems-aware. I'm convinced that healthy and thoughtful processes result from using this approach.
I’ve been an educator for over 25 years, working in college counseling, pre-law advising, law school admissions, and teaching political science at the undergraduate level. I’ve loved all of it—especially walking alongside students and families as they navigate an ever-changing, often anxiety-filled process. It’s a privilege to watch young adults step into the responsibility of choosing what comes next. I have worked in several school settings and supported nieces, nephews, and neighbors independently for years. I recently (2025) made the formal move into independent consulting and am excited to continue supporting families from this vantage point!
