About

I provide families with up-to-date knowledge and personalized guidance to demystify the college admissions process. I got my start in the field in 2002 when I worked for UC Berkeley's the Early Academic Outreach Program and served as a UC Berkeley Admissions reader. For over a decade after that I was a school-based college counselor and advisor in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I have lived and studied abroad and love introducing students to opportunities in Canada, the UK and the EU, where there are many low-cost, high quality bachelor's degree programs taught entirely in English. I also support students with applications to colleges and universities across the US.

In addition to HECA, I am a member of WACAC (Western Association of College Admissions Counseling). I have an MA in Education from San Francisco State University and a Certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley.
